However, mediators said Iran had not made such a request, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iranian officials indicated interest in negotiations but said the country’s leadership has not yet made a final decision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The US has presented a 15-point plan offering to lift sanctions in exchange for Iranian concessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The proposal includes conditions related to Iran’s nuclear programme, missile activities and regional involvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Iranian officials have asked the US to scale back what they described as excessive demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
